What does GSM and MIC mean?

GSM and MIC refer to the thickness of the paper. 250gsm and below feel more like paper, whereas above 250gsm feels more like card.

What are the differences between the paper types?

We sell numerous paper types across different products. The majority of products use Silk or Uncoated. The difference between this is that the Silk stock has an extra shimmer to the finish whereas the Uncoated is a bit more rustic. There are some products using 100% Recycled, Ice Gold and Conqueror Woven. 100% Recycled is similar to Uncoated but just a bit more rustic. Ice Gold has a subtle metallic shimmer. Conqueror Woven is a matt finish with a wove feel.

What is the difference between the types of Lamination?

We offer 3 types of lamination, Gloss, Matt and Soft-Touch. Gloss is a shiny finished lamination, whereas Matt and Soft-Touch are a non-shiny finished lamination. Soft-Touch could be seen as a slightly more premium version of Matt.

I can't find a product. Does that mean you don't sell it?

We are a printer, so the short answer is yes! The long answer is, yes, unless it is something we haven’t thought of. We will always be able to try and print anything you need. Just get in touch with us for a quote and we will try our best to help.

When will my order arrive?

The majority of our orders will arrive within 3-5 working days. Some products can be done quicker (as fast as within 2 days), To check if your order can be expedited, please get in touch. Please be aware that this may incur an extra cost.

How do I send you my artwork?

Under Design & Artwork you will find a Send Artwork page. This page has an uploader that comes directly to us. Please use this to send us your file.

What format does my artwork need to be?

We only accept JPEG, PDF or PNG. We will not accept any other file type. We use Adobe software so can work on Photoshop, InDesign or Illustrator files, but you would need to embed all the elements so as not to risk losing them. For print, we need a minimum 300dpi file to work with.

What if you already have my artwork?

First, thanks for coming back! If we have done the job before and you want a repeat print, place your order and then get in touch letting us know the order number and the version you wish to reprint.

Will you proof my artwork with me?

We will check your artwork and send you an email with how it will look for you to approve. This will happen on the same day as your order, or by midday the following day. If you haven’t received your proof, check your junk mail and then get in touch if you still don’t have it.

Can I see a sample of your products?

We have various samples that can be sent to you. Please get in touch and we will see what we can do. We cannot, however, give you a sample of your proposed product, this will be in digital format only.

How much is delivery?

We charge £6.95 for delivery on orders under £100 in value. If you have ordered more than £100 then delivery is free.

What are your payment methods?

We accept payment via Paypal or Credit/Debit Card online. If you would like to pay by a different means, please contact a member of our sales team on sales@printworthy.co.uk.

Where do you ship to?

We will ship our products all over the world, however, the website only ships to England, Scotland and Wales. If you are looking to order from outside these regions, please email us at sales@printworthy.co.uk.
